The Missing Link is Back: Introducing the Virtual Summer Stride
For years, the Burton Race Series was defined by the "Big Four." When one race stepped away, we moved to a three-race format—but the spirit of that fourth challenge never really left. This year, we’re bringing it back but in a new way!
The Burton Race Series Virtual Summer Stride is the bridge between our spring and fall events. It’s designed to keep your momentum going during the warmest months of the year, and ready for the finish line in November.
We know that for many of you it is hard to be at every event so the four race format, allowing you to complete three and still get a medal was a fantastic opportunity. So, this virtual event fills the gap.

Registration is open through November 14, 2026. Event results can be reported through November 17, 2026.

$15, shirts and medals are not available for this event

VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION:
The virtual event gives you the freedom to complete your miles on your own schedule and in the location that works best for you. After registering, choose any route you like, such as your neighborhood, a park trail, a treadmill, a group run and run or walk your distance. It is an easy, flexible way to stay active, support the event, and stay connected to the running community from wherever you are.

PARTICIPATION MEDALS:
For this event, we will not be ordering participation medals.
TIMING & RESULTS:
Track your time on your watch or phone then share the journey: Post your finish-line photos or GPS routes using #BurtonRaceSeries and #IDidAllFour to cheer on your fellow runners.
