about the burton race series

The Burton Race Series is a volunteer‑driven lineup of three runs and walks held throughout the year in Burton, Michigan. Whether you come for fitness, camaraderie, or just a good time, the BRS makes it easy to get moving.

Join all three races and we’ll track your participation in the series. Can’t make one of the dates? No problem, our virtual option lets you complete the miles wherever you choose.

Finish the full series and you’ll earn the exclusive BRS medal, awarded at our December after‑party. It’s our way of celebrating your commitment, your effort, and your inner champion.

races in the series

each race in the series is an independent event, but together we are a series. There are fees to register for each event, but there are no additional fees for inclusion in the Burton Race Series or to receive a series medal.

• Hot Fudge 5K Run & Walk - February 21, 2026.

• City of Burton Memorial Day 5K Run & Walk - May 25, 2026.

• Veterans Honor Run - November 7, 2026.

Free Participation Medal

Each person completing the three series events will receive a free custom designed Burton Race Series medal.

Medals for the 2025 series will be available for pick up during the After Party being held at Complete Runner in Flint, Michigan on December 17, 2025 at 5:00PM – 7:00PM.

Series Rules

It’s easy. register for all three events and complete them. If you can’t attend each one, sign up for the virtual category you’ll still earn a series medal. Be sure to spell your name consistently across registrations to help us track your participation.
